There are Millions of Unidentified Bones in the Land and Sea

shipwreckMore and more old towns and homeplaces are being excavated, and it is shocking what is being learned. Some examples. Graves of the unpopular and unwelcome Irish in New York. Burial grounds of Native Americans, defined today at little hills. Those buried at sea, including europeans, sailors, and slaves, as well as the innumerable finds of sunken vessels. Europeans not permitted christian burials, and the graves of paupers. Cemeteries whose soil is buried without headstones. Mayans sacrificed and thrown into pits under the temples. The bones in Vera Cruz revealing the skulls of an ancient battle of some 10,000 people. The collection of Asian skulls at the Smithsonian Institute. I could go on and on, but you get the gist. There are simply millions of people which cannot be accounted for. The British burned the records in Washington, D. C. in 1812. And our methods of record-keeping have met disasters such as court house fires and earthquakes. The famous Ancient library of Alexandria, Egypt established during the third century BC which contained great treasures of information, burned to the ground by Julius Caesar in 48 BC. Is it any wonder that the Mormon Church, who microfilmed county records during the 1950s, stores its records in a vault under a mountain in Utah?
