The Genealogy Collection at Public Libraries Provides Data Not Available on the Internet

This is a resource no genealogist should overlook.  Sooner or later we have to leave the internet chair and get down to old-fashioned researching ar State Archives and Regional Libraries.  For some records, it is simply better to thumb through a book than to insert a name in a search box on the internet and wait.  The thumbing process lets us see actual names, some of which we will recognize.   People did not exist alone.  They had neighbors and friends who married daughters.  The additional information gleaned from some of these glimpses pays off in that it provides further clues.
